Emmanuel Boakye Owusu scored late to propel Bechem United to victory over Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Stadium on Sunday.
The visitors deepened the woes of Elmina Sharks with a 3-2 win in matchday 20 of the Ghana Premier League.
Bechem United after sharing the spoils in week 19 against Kotoko on home turf ensured they pick the three points at stake against the relegation threatened Sharks.
Emmanuel Annor and Augustine Okrah scored in the 19th and 28th minutes respectively to put the Hunters ahead.
But Elmina Sharks forward Tahir Mensah scored brace on the 36th and 79th minutes to restore parity.
The game seemed to have ended in a draw but Emmanuel Boakye Owusu scored in the dying embers of the game to hand his side victory.
Bechem United currently sits 4th position with 34 points whereas Sharks lies bottom on the league log with 12 points.
