2021/22 Ghana Premier League: Week 24 Match Report- Berekum Chelsea 1-0 Legon Cities
Berekum Chelsea continued their impressive run of form with a win over Legon Cities in matchday 24 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Bibires inflicted a 1-0 win over the Royals at the Golden City Park on Sunday afternoon.
The two teams hoped for a win after securing victories in their last games in the Premier League.
But it was Chelsea who emerged as winner in the much-anticipated clash.
Despite both teams creating numerous scoring opportunities, it was Berekum Chelsea who finally find the back of the net in the 38th minute from the spot.
The Berekum-based club has been outstanding in the second half of the campaign and are currently 7th on the league table with 36 points whiles Legon Cities sit 11th position with 30 points.
