2022 FIFA WCQ: Injured Jonathan Mensah to miss Ghana’s penultimate clash against Ethiopia

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that defender Jonathan Mensah will miss Ghana’s penultimate 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Ethiopia.

In this international break, the Black Stars are set to complete the matches in Group G of the African qualifiers to the 2022 global tournament.

While Ghana is hoping to secure two wins for the two matches to advance to the final stage of the qualifiers, some players have been ruled out.

Besides Thomas Partey, the Ghana FA has also confirmed that centre-back Jonathan Mensah will not feature in the Ethiopia encounter.

Below is the 24-man Ghana squad travelling to Johannesburg for the Ethiopia game:
