2022 FIFA World Cup playoff: Ghana coach Otto Addo opens up on plan to deal with Nigeria
The head coach of Ghana’s national team, Otto Addo has revealed that his side has a plan on how to deal with the star-studded Nigeria opponent in the 2022 World Cup playoff today.
The first leg of the scheduled tie will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium later tonight.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference on Thursday, Coach Otto Addo stressed that his team is focused on getting the needed result.
According to him, although the team didn’t have enough time to train, the players put in the effort and are ready for Nigeria.
“It is reasonable that people are skeptical. It is normal. But in all of the skepticism, there is a chance.
“Football is football. We can play good and lose. We can play bad and win.
“We have worked hard. The players are ready.
“It’s obvious we’ve not played together for so long but we have a plan, and we will execute it tomorrow,” Otto Addo told the press.
Tonight’s big game is scheduled to kick off at 19:00GMT.
