Accra Lions bolster squad with the signing of lethal striker Fredrick Akatuk
Ghana Premier League newcomers, Accra Lions FC have announced the signing of lethal striker Fredrick Akatuk.
The club after securing qualification from the National Division One League to the top-flight league has set sight on strengthening its squad for the campaign that lies ahead.
After successful talks, the club has completed the acquisition of Fredrick Akatuk to enforce its squad.
“Accra Lions is proud to confirm the signing of Fredrick Akatuk from Tudu Mighty Jets.
“Fredrick, we are happy to welcome you in the Accra Lions family and wish you all the best for the upcoming season,” an official statement on the Twitter page of Accra Lions FC has said.
According to Sporting Director Rainer Kraft, the club is elated with the signing of the player who was the second-best scorer with 17 goals in the past Division One League campaign.
