Aduana Stars coach throws players under the bus after Hearts of Oak loss
Aduana Stars coach Asare Bediako has blamed his players following their 2-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak on Matchday 18 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Victor Aidoo and a Hafiz Adam own goal ensured new Coach Samuel Boadu made it two wins out of two games.
It was sweet victory for Hearts of Oak who lost by the same scoreline at the Nana Agyemang Badu I park in the first round.
Speaking to the media after the game, Asare Bediako slammed his players for failing to execute his game plan.
“We lost the game I the first half because what I told them in the first half they didn’t do it. They were supposed to press but Hearts of Oak did that.
“They were supposed to press and mark one and one. When we went to recess I told them to do so we can get the equalizer. I told them to press because that was the training we had in the week but they didn’t do it”.
Aduana Stars next host King Faisal on matchday 19 at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park in Dormaa.
