Aduana Stars end first round on a high after resounding victory over Eleven Wonders
Aduana Stars on Sunday afternoon returned to winning ways and ensured that they ended the first half of the season on a high note after securing an impressive victory over Eleven Wonders.
The Ogya boys had lost three consecutive games against Bbiani Gold Stars, Dreams FC and Bechem United prior to this encounter.
Playing against an Eleven Wonders side who were also seeking to get the points to help in their bid to escape relegation, Aduana Stars had no option to win.
And they did so as they finished off the game in the first 30 minutes, courtesy Bright Adjei who netted a hat-trick in four minutes.
He scored his first of three in the 25th minute, before adding the second couple of seconds later and the third in 29th minute.
Adjei’s three goals were enough to secure all three points as Eleven Wonders were unable to secure a comeback.
The win puts Aduana Stars back into the top 4 with 27 points after 17 games.
Eleven Wonders, on the other hand, still remain in 17th position and look like one of the favorites to be relegated this season.
