AFCON 2021: Morocco coach Vahid Halilhodzic anticipates difficult game against Ghana
Morocco coach Vahid Halilhodzic is anticipating a difficult encounter against Ghana in the opening game of Group C of the Africa Cup of Nations ongoing in Cameroon scheduled for Monday in Yaounde.
Despite the Black Stars recent struggles in the competition, the head coach of Morroco is full of respect for the West African country ahead of their encounter.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game. The Serbian trainer insisted Ghana will make things difficult for his side.
“Ghana is a team with great history in African football. They have won the cup four times, the match against the Black Stars will certainly be difficult.” Halilhodzic said at pre-match briefing
“It is true that our history is not as rich as other teams, but this generation is motivated and determined to achieve a historic feat during this Africa Cup of Nations,” he added.
The other group game will see Gabon come up against Comoros.
