Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus returns to Ghana squad for Nigeria clash

Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has returned to the Black Stars squad for the playoff encounter against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

He had an injury that stopped him from competing in Ghana’s disastrous Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon earlier this year.

In November, he suffered an injury in Ghana’s last group stage Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against South Africa at the Cape Coast stadium.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian playmaker has regained full health and has earned coach Otto Addo’s confidence ahead of the vital match against Nigeria for a spot in the World Cup later this year in Qatar.

The Black Stars will play the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday 25th March at the Baba Yara Stadium. The second leg of the crucial playoff will take place in Abuja four days later.
