Akonnor offers support to injured Medeama Midfielder Justice Blay
Head Coach of the Black Stars Charles Akonnor has sent his commiserations and support for injured Medeama midfielder Justice Blay.
The Ghana International’s season looks to have come to an end after suffering a horrendous injury in the Yellow and Mauve’s 2-1 victory over Legon Cities.
Blay is set to be ruled out of action between 2-3 months after he fractured a right fibula following a dangerous challenge from Legon Cities defender Joseph Adjei.
Following the unfortunate incident, Black Stars coach Charles Akonnor has reached out to the former Asante Kotoko loanee to offer his support.
Medeama confirmed the support of the Head Coach of the Senior National Team through their Twitter account.
