Akuoko advocates for Bright Adjei's Black Stars inclusion

Aduana Stars Emmanuel Akuako believes his team-mate Bright Adjei deserved a national team call up due to his current form in the Ghana Premier League.

Adjei has been on fire for Aduana Stars this season and team-mate Akuako is advocating for him to be included in Ghana’s squad for the World Cup playoffs later this month.

Adjei has scored 12 goals in 19 games for Aduana in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

The attacker has also won four most valuable player award in the current campaign.

With the Black Stars scheduled for a double-header encounter against the Super Eagles later this month as the battle to secure qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Akuako believes this is the time for Bright Adjei to be rewarded for his hard work, the defender took his Facebook page to advocate for his teammate to be included in Ghana’s squad for the game.

“You too deserved a national team call up Bright Adjei” He posted on his Facebook page.

The prolific forward who has played for Ghana’s U23 side and the local Black Stars is aiming for his first senior team call-up under Otoo Addo.
