All finances, logistics needed by Black Stars will be provided by gov’t – Minister Mustapha Ussif assures

The Sports Minister of Ghana, Mustapha Ussif has indicated that the government is making available all logistical and financial support needed by the Black Stars for the clash against Nigeria.

According to him, the government is committed to making all the necessary provisions to cushion the national to ensure they succeed during the encounter against rivals Nigeria.

“As a government and as a country, we can make sure we get all the finances and logistics that the team needs to shine on that day. We’ve started putting in all the necessary steps to ensure that nothing becomes a hindrance to our success on that day.

“Whatever we need to do as a country, in terms of making sure the players arrive on time or have a good session in training, especially when you have a new technical team, the government is ready to provide the necessary logistics,” Minister Mustapha Ussif shared.

The first leg of the playoff tie of the African qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament is scheduled to be played on Friday, March 24, 2022.

Tomorrow’s encounter between Ghana and Nigeria is scheduled kick-off at 19:30GMT.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria team has arrived in Kumasi and will hold a training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this evening.
