All those who fix matches will be dealt with – GFA president Kurt Okraku assures
The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has stressed that his administration is keen on ensuring that anyone involved in match fixing is punished.
Despite an exciting Ghana Premier League season during the 2020/2021 campaign, a few match fixing allegations that came up brought the name of the game into disrepute.
At a meeting with the Ghana Police Service today, Kurt Okraku has assured that nobody will be spated
“In most recent times, match fixing has also reared its head in our football ecosystem. Last year we had some bad incidents and I remember making my way here to meet the CID boss and I’m happy to say that we had a good engagement,” Kurt Okraku said.
He added, “Investigations are ongoing to ensure that people who joke with our businesses, people who go wayward are brought to book.”
Today’s meeting had IGP George Akuffo Dampare and other leading members of the force present.
