Amos Frimpong tips Asante Kotoko to win the Ghana Premier League
Former Kotoko defender, Amos Frimpong has tipped the Porcupine Warriors to win the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League the week.
Kotoko and Hearts share 53 points from 29 games but the Phobians are top of the table courtesy superior goal difference.
With five games to end the League campaign, the Eleven Wonders defender believes the Porcupines will leapfrog the Phoabians to lift the title at the end of the day.
The two side’s are set to meet in a fortnight in a game that will be the decider for the title.
Amos believes Kotoko will overcome Hearts of Oak at their own backyard.
“It’s looking very tough with both teams having the same points.
“So that game in Accra will be a decider because both teams will win the rest of their games.
W”Whoever wins [the game in Accra], wins the league.
“And l tip Kotoko to win the League because we have a very good record against them [Hearts of Oak] in Accra and l am confident Kotoko will beat Hearts on that day.” Amos Frimpong, the former Kotoko captain told Frank Agyam of Germany based Topical Radio.
The two sides’ clash in the first round ended goalless when Kotoko adopted the Accra Sports Stadium as home ground.
