Armenian side Urartu FC complete the signing of Ghanaian defender Nana Antwi
Armenian top-flight side Urartu FC have completed the signing of Ghanaian defender Nana Antwi.
The defender is joining the side from Lori FC where he had a very good season.
Antwi 20, featured in 17 games for the side at the just ended season.
The club confirmed his signing on their Official website on Thursday.
“We are happy to announce that Urartu Football Club has a new signing. The club has signed a contract with Ghanaian defender Nana Antwi. The 20-year-old player moved to Urartu FC from Lori Vanadzor FC, where he played 17 matches. We’d like to add that Antwi also played in the French Lille OSC.
After joining our team, Antwi shared his impressions:
“Every player dreams of playing in such a club. I have friends who play here: Mensah, Iwu, Desire. When I told them that I have the opportunity to go to Urartu FC, they said that I should not miss this opportunity. Now I am at Urartu FC and will do my best to help this team achieve its goals.”
