Asante Kotoko announce IMPROVED deal with GOIL
Ghana Premier League (GPL) giants Asante Kotoko have announced an agreement with state-owned Ghanaian oil and gas marketing company, GOIL.
Per the arrangement, GOIL becomes a partner of Asante Kotoko for one calendar year subject to renewal.
In a statement released via the club’s social media handles, the deal described as mutually beneficial sees a 66.5% improvement of the previous sponsorship deal (which was worth GH¢55,000) between the two parties.
The new deal is now worth around GH¢90,000 per month during this period. Overall Asante Kotoko stand to get around GH¢ 1 million in cahs and products.
Kotoko has had dealings with GOIL since 2017. They initially signed a two year deal and renewed in 2020.
