Head coach of Asante Kotoko Mariano Barretto says his charges are working on scoring more goals in the second round due to their low scoring rate in the first round.

The Porcupines have scored 13 goals in 16 matches which the new coach isn’t impress with and working to change in the second round.

Speaking ahead of his first game in charge of the club, the former Black Stars coach demands his charges to create more chances in order to score more goals.

“There are many things to change; our teams cannot score goals. You can’t score only 13 goals in 16 matches, so we’re trying to change this fact,” he said.

“If we aren’t scoring more goals, it probably means we aren’t creating more chance. We’re working on that.”

The Porcupines begin the second round of the premiership against Eleven Wonders FC in Techiman on Saturday.
