Asante Kotoko star Fabio Gama arrives in Ghana for pre-season
Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama has touched down in Ghana to begin pre-season training with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko ahead of next season.
Gama, who joined the Porcupine Warrior last season enjoyed a descent Ghana Premier League debut campaign.
He played a key role in the clubs second placed finish in the 2020/21 domestic top-flight league.
The enterprising midfielder departed Ghana to his native country for holidays at the end of the season.
However, as Kotoko begin pre-season today for the upcoming campaign, Gama has been spotted at the Kotoka International airport and is expected to travel to Kumasi to join his teammates at camp.
Gama was met on arrival by Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah, accompanied by the General Secretary of Kotoko Faithfuls, supporters Group within the Kotoko Family.
The Brazilian will work under new coach Dr Prosper Nartey Ogum following the departure of Portuguese trainer Mariano Bareto.
