Ashantigold announce squad for the second round of the Ghana Premier League; Appiah McCarthy omitted
Ashanti Gold SC have announced their squad ahead of the second round of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
The Miners have augment their team with the signings Former Black Starlets winger Paul Asare De Vries, former Tema Youth, Ebusua Dwarfs and Karela United goalkeeper, Kofi Mensah.
Asokwa Deportivo ace, Gordon Kusi Brokelyn has also signed for the Aboakese lads.
They have also the services of Dennis Voetere, Emmanuel Bonsu, Michael Boakye and former Asante Kotoko midfielder Stephen Nyarko.
The biggest omission in the squad is the absence of star midfielder Appiah McCarthy who has been ruled of the season due to an injury he suffered in the first round of the Ghana Premier League.
The second round is set to commence on Friday, April 2, 2021.
