"Ashgold are a 'stubborn' team" - Samuel Boadu reflects on FA Cup victory

Accra Hearts of Oak Head Coach, Samuel Boadu has referred to his opponents in the 2021 FA Cup Final, Ashantigold, as a very ‘stubborn’ team.

Hearts of Oak defeated the Miners on penalties to win their first FA Cup trophy since 2000 and complete their sixth double and the first for the club in over two decades.

The Miners who were a tough nut to crack on Sunday gave the Rainbow boys a very stern test as they managed to hold the league Champions after both 90 minutes and extra time.

“They have very skillful players, good midfielders, their defense & attack, in fact, all of their departments are very strong.” – Boadu added
