Ashgold SC set to appoint French gaffer Romain Folz
French Coach Romain Folz is on the brink of joining Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold SC, per FMIG checks.
The 30 year old former Bechem United gaffer is set to join the Miners who have been without a substantive Coach since Serbian Milovan Cirkovic left the club.
Cirkovic departed Ghana for his home country citing health reasons leaving the Obuasi-based side short of a leader from the technical viewpoint.
Romain Folz is currently working as assistant manager to French Ligue 2 side Chamois Niortais FC.
His imminent appointment at Ashgold though will see him return to the Ghana Premier League after leaving Bechem United last year.
Folz has had stints with Pyramids FC in Egypt and the Uganda national team.
