Augustine Okrah set to miss Olympics-Kotoko duel
Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be without influential winger Augustine Okrah when they come up against Accra Great Olympics in this weekend’s Ghana Premier League clash.
The Porcupine Warriors visit the Dade boys at the Accra Sports Stadium on matchday 20 of the Ghana Premier League on Friday in what is a top-of-the-table clash.
The former Al-Merreikh star is believed to have sustained an injury during his side’s preparation game against lower-tier side Next Generation Academy on Wednesday at the Adako Jachie.
The Porcupine Warriors lost the tie narrowly to the lower Division side in club-friendly as part of their preparation for the Great Olympics clash.
The extent of the injury is yet to be determined but will be absent from the squad for the game on Friday.
Okrah has provided three assists in the last two games for the club.
