Baba Rahman reacts to Reading’s draw against QPR on his Championship debut

Ghana international Baba Rahman is disappointed with his side draw against Queens Park Rangers on home turf.

The defender, currently on loan from Premier League side Chelsea played the entire duration as Reading were held to a 3-3 draw at the Madejski Stadium.

The 27-year-old impressed on his debut and is looking forward to the next game on Wednesday.

The visitors, QPR took the lead in the 11th minute after Michael Morrison had netted an own goal before John Swift levelled the pegging in the 35th minute.

John Swift added the second and third goal for Reading in the 64th and 77th minute but two late goals from Andre Gray and Stefan Johansen helped QPR to snatch a draw.

In a post sighted by Footballghana.com, the Black Stars defender expressed his joy after making his debut but was left disappointed with the draw.

“Delighted with my debut today [Saturday] but gutted we could not hold on for all three points,” Baba wrote on his social media pages.

“We have to change that on Tuesday. The fans were also amazing till the end.”

Reading will host Peterborough in their next league assignment on Wednesday.
