Baba Rahman reveals what makes the Greek Championship very tough
Black Stars defender Baba Abdul Rahman says playing in the Greek topflight league is not easy due to the competitive nature of the Championship.
The left back joined PAOK Thessaloniki on loan from Chelsea during the winter transfer window and has since been playing regularly for the club.
According to Rahman, the Greek Championship is very difficult and breaking into the top four is like a war.
In an interview with FootballMadeInGhana com, Baba Rahman stated,
“People don’t know much about the Greek league, but I would say it’s tough and I think I’m very lucky going there in the winter.
“Our games are generally not easy ones, but we manage to sail through them because PAOK is a great club.
“But breaking into the top 4 on the league log is a war.
PAOK are out of contention for the league title – trailing league leaders, Olympiacos by 20 points after 27 matches played so far. However, the Ghanaian has set sights on reaching the final in the Greek Cup and hopefully win it.
