Babiani Gold Stars coach Michael Osei rates himself ahead of Kotoko’s Prosper Narteh Ogum
Bibiani Gold Stars head coach, Michael Osei says he is ahead of Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum in terms of football.
The Ghana Premier League debutants will host the Porcupine Warriors in the matchday three games at the Dun’s Park.
Speaking to Accra based Zylofone FM in an interview, the former Asante Kotoko coach said his former side are a good side and have started really well but they are ever ready and poised for the game since they equally also possess a strong squad.
“We’ve noticed that Kotoko have started very well this season,” he said.
“I had the opportunity to watch them last weekend alongside my technical team. We saw that they are a very good side but we are also a strong side and our team is gearing very well.
“It will be an interesting game and very difficult game but I believe that….I don’t want to brag. Let’s wait for Friday and see.
“Maybe Prosper Ogum and I are almost the same but in terms of football am ahead of him,” he added.
The Miners have also commenced their season on a high note having amassed four points in their first two games played.
Gold Stars recorded a win against Berekum Chelsea and drew with Medeama SC.
