'Baby Jet' Asamoah Gyan lambasts Ghana's early elimination from the AFCON

Asamoah Gyan has lambasted the Black Stars’ unexpected 3-2 loss to Comoros and the team’s early elimination from the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.

The former Sunderland player was unable to compete in this year’s competition for the first time since 2006.

Ghana finished the Afcon 2021 campaign with one point after going winless in three games.

Speaking as a pundit on Supersport the former Black Stars captain was not happy with the performance of the team throughout the group phase.

“I am very disappointed. You cannot win the game with that kind of attitude. You have to give the people something to talk about. I don’t know how people are going to feel back home,” he said.
