Barca legend wants Kwame Opoku in his team
Barcelona’s iconic midfielder Xavi is the latest football manager to express an interest in Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku.
Now in charge of Al Sadd in Qatar, the Barca and Spain legend has registered an interest in the Asante Kotoko forward.
The high-flying young striker has seen his stock rise after fronting Asante Kotoko’s charge for the Ghana Premier League title and also their African adventure.
Opoku who is in his maiden season with the Porcupine Warriors is their leading scorer in all competitions. The former Nkoranza Warriors goal poacher has netted 7 goals in 14 league appearances for his new side. His overall performances has seen interests in him multpily by the day.
After scoring Asante Kotoko’s only goal in a painful 2-1 home defeat to Algerian side ES Setif in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday, the latest club to express an interest is Al Sadd.
