Benjamin Afutu to sign a new Hearts of Oak contract – Opare Addo
Communications Director of Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo has disclosed the club is in advanced talks with midfielder Benjamin Afutu for a possible contract renewal.
The enterprising midfielder is currently out of contract and is yet to sign anew deal with the Ghanaian giants.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, Opare Addo indicated the club is edging closer to extending Afutu’s stay at the club ahead of next season.
“On Afutu, we have reach a point where we are hoping he will agree and extend for the club so that we will continue the relationship.”
Despite his contract running out at the club, he been registered for the upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.
He played an instrumental role for the Phobians in their double winning season.
