Bernard Mensah reacts to winning Turkish Super Lig with Besiktas
Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah has excitement at being finally crowned champion of the Turkish Super Lig.
Mensah, who is enjoying his debut season at the Black Eagles following his move from Kayserispor saw his side crowned Champions of the 2020-21 Turkish elite league.
Besiktas won the title by the slenderest of margins- by one goal on goal difference- at the expense of city rivals, Galatasaray.
Galatasaray who beat Yeni Malatyaspor 3-1 finished the season on 84 points plus a goal difference of +44 while Besiktas following their win ove Goztepe finished with 84 points and a goal difference of +45.
This development crowned 26 year old Mensah’s side as Champions.
The player who made 31 appearances for his side scoring 4 goals in the process took to Twitter to mark the occasion.
