Black Satellites goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim says ‘sorry’ after defeat to Gambia
Black Satellites goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has apologized for their defeat against Gambia in the last group game on Monday.
Despite taking an early lead in the game , Ghana ended up on the losing side after a sprinted performance from the Gambians saw them cameback to win by 2-1.
The defeat saw Ghana finished third in the group behind Morroco and Gambia who finished first and second respectively.
Ghana despite finishing third qualified as the third-best team having accumulated four points from the group games.
Reflecting on the game on his social media handle, the Asante Kotoko goalkeeper apologised for the team’s performance and assured the fans of a win ahead of their next game.
