Black Stars to engage in three friendly games in Doha ahead of 2021 AFCON
According to the Ghana Football Association in a press statement today the Black Stars of Ghana will play three friendly games in Doha ahead of the 2021 AFCON.
The GFA stated that the Black Stars will play a friendly against African Champions Algeria on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
The two other friendlies will be against a club side on December 28, 2021, and an AFCON bound country on January 1, 2022.
Coach Milovan and his lads will camp in Doha, Qatar on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 ahead of the 33rd edition to the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations – Cameroon 2022.
Ghana have been paired with Morocco, Gabon, and Comoros in C of the TotalEnergies 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The Black Stars are in search of their first Africa Cup of Nations title since 1982.
The 2021 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled for Cameroon from Sunday, January 9 to Sunday, February 6, 2022.
