Black Stars will train at FnB Stadium on Sunday

On Sunday, the Black Stars will have their final training session at Johannesburg’s FnB Stadium before their second group encounter in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The players took a chartered plane from Ghana to Johannesburg on Saturday morning to complete preparations for the game.

Due to COVID-19, Black Stars coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor would be missing some of his top players, primarily from England and Germany, for the South Africa encounter.

As a result, Ghana coach CK Akonnor would be missing five of his starting 11 against Ethiopia for the South Africa encounter on Monday, September 6.

Ghana will train at the match location for 24 hours before the game begins on Sunday, according to CAF regulations.
