BREAKING NEWS: Amidaus Professionals banned from Ghana’s Division One League
Amidaus Professionals FC has been banned from the Division One League Zone 3 with immediate effect for failing to honour seven matches in the 2020/21 Division One League competition, the Ghana Football Association has announced.
In a decision announced by the GFA Disciplinary Committee, Amidaus Professionals is banned from taking part in the Division One League (Zone 3).
According to the FA, the decision is to maintain the sporting integrity of the competition.
The Tema-based club failed to register players for the start of the Division One League, hence were unable to play their initial seven games of the season.
They waited until the second registration window was opened to register players before honouring their games thereof.
Following the decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana FA, all matches played by Amidaus Professionals should be declared null and void.
The DC also adds that all clubs that were supposed to play Amidaus, or have played Amidaus will be awarded 3 points and 3 goals.
