CAF WCL: We are coming to win the title and there’s no turning back – Hasaacas Ladies coach Yussif Basigi
Hasaacas Ladies coach Yussif Basigi has set sights on beating Mamelodi Sundowns in the final to lift the maiden CAF Women’s Champions League title.
The Ghanaian champions picked a 2-1 win against Moroccan side ASFAR in the first semifinal clash and, Mamelodi Sundowns had a 5-4 penalty win over Malabo Kings after the regulation time plus extra time ended goalless.
The game comes off on Friday, November 19, 2021, at the 30 June Stadium.
“Playing the final game means that both teams are fighting for something important, the trophy. We are coming to win the title and there’s no turning back,” coach Basigi said ahead of the game.
“I have faith in my goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and attackers. You will see more variations of how the team plays.”
The South Africans have not conceded a goal in their four outings in Egypt while Hasaacas has scored 10 times en route to the final.
