CAF Women’s Champions League: Hasaacas Ladies book place in final after beating AS FAR 2-1
Hasaacas Ladies are into the finals of the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League after defeating AS FAR 2-1 in the first semi-final game of the tournament on Monday afternoon.
The Ghana Women’s Premier League champions have been phenomenal since the virgin tournament commenced in Egypt.
Having won two matches and drawn one in the group stages, the team finished top of Group A.
Facing off with AS FAR of Morocco in the semi-finals today, Hasaacas Ladies put up yet another outstanding performance today to secure the needed result.
The Ghanaian champions with goals from Doris Boaduwaa and Evelyn Badu cruised to a deserved 2-1 win at the end of a thrilling contest to advance to the finals of the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Not only will Hasaacas Ladies be gunning for the title in the final, but the team’s talisman Evelyn Badu can also aim for the tournament’s top goalscorer award.
The strong forward has already scored five goals after playing in all four matches for her team.
