Caleb Ekuban bags brace in Trabzonspor heavy win against Ankaragucu

Ghana’s forward Caleb Ekuban bagged a brace as Trabzonspor thumped Ankaragucu at home in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.

Ekuban scored in the 8th and 28th minutes respectively as his side run riot on the day.

Djaniny and Edgar Le scored the third and fourth for the home side as they moved to fourth on the log.

The Black Stars forward was withdrawn on the 85th minutes for Benik Afobe.

Caleb Ekuban has now 9 goals and 3 assists in 25 games for Trabzonspor so far this season in Turkey.

He is expected to fly to Ghana and join C K Akonnor squad for the final round of Afcon qualifiers against South Africa and São Tomé and Principe.

Trabzonspor sit 4th on the league table with 55 points after 30 league games.
