Caleb Ekuban wins penalty on debut as Genoa fight back to beat Perugia in Coppa Italia

Ghana international Caleb Ekuban made his debut for Genoa in the Coppa Italia against Perugia over the weekend.

The enterprising forward secured a move to the Serie A outfit in the ongoing transfer window from Turkish side Trabzonspor after a superlative performance last season.

Ekuban started the game against the Serie C club helping the side to beat their opponent to progress to the next stage of the competition.

Perugia scored two quick goals within 10 minutes before Genoa fought back to win 3-2 at the end of the game.

The Black Stars striker who lasted for 45 minutes in the game created his side first goal winning a penalty for the club.
