Celtic manager full of praise for Jeremie Frimpong

Jeremie Frimpong joined Bayer Leverkusen in January from Celtic FC. Frimpong’s stint with the club was short, but supporters remember him fondly.

His energy and dynamic football style had caught the imagination of the supporters.

Ange Postecoglou was not the club’s manager at the time of Frimpong’s arrival, but he was full of praise for the player. According to The Herald, Celtic manager said:

“He has done really well,”

“He did well here in the couple of years and I think he would be the first to say his time with Celtic helped him in his career,”

“We gave him that platform on which to perform. He did so and he got a great move after it,”

“Anyone who passes through this club is part of our history and I am sure he would acknowledge that,” he concluded
