CONFIRMED: Otto Addo and Maxwell Konadu appointed as Black Stars assistant coaches
Ghanaian tacticians, Otto Addo and Maxwell Konadu have been appointed as assistant coaches for the Black Stars.
The Ghana national team in the past few weeks has been without a technical team following the sacking of coach CK Akonnor and his two assistants earlier this month.
That decision was taken by the Ghana FA after Ghana lost 1-0 to South Africa in Johannesburg in the qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Now putting together a new technical team for the Black Stars, the GFA has today announced the appointment of Milovan Rajevac as the new head coach for the Black Stars.
In addition, the Ghana FA has confirmed the appointments of Otto Addo and Maxwell Konadu as his two assistants.
It is understood that ex-Ghana shot-stopper Richard Kingson is continuing as the goalkeepers trainer for the Ghana national team.
For the first assignment of the new technical team, they will take on Zimbabwe in a doubleheader encounter in the World Cup qualifiers next month.
