Crystal Palace fans excited with Rak-Sakyi’s performance against Leeds
Crystal Palace supporters reacted on Twitter after seeing footage of Jesurun Rak-Sakyi demolishing Leeds for the Under-23 side.
Crystal Palace’s Under-23 side earned promotion last season, and faced Leeds in their maiden game of the Premier League 2 campaign.
The youthful Eagles were defeated 3-1 at Selhurst Park, but there were plenty of positive signs.
The primary bright spark came from Rak-Sakyi, who launched on a dazzling dribble similar to a young Wilfried Zaha.
Crystal Palace’s No.49 dribbled past three Leeds players on the right wing before racing towards goal.
Then he slipped a beautiful pass into Scott Banks, putting him one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
On Saturday, the 18-year-old made his Premier League debut against Chelsea, playing 13 minutes at Stamford Bridge.
