Daniel Opare to leave Zulte Waregem at the end of the season
Ghana defender Daniel Opare is set to leave Belgium’s top-flight side Zulte Waregem at the end of the 2020/21 season.
Opare’s contract with the Jupiter Pro League outfit ends on June 30, 2021, and could leave as a free agent.
However, the Essevees could start contract talks with the player, after an impressive showing during the season.
The 30-year-old is currently out with an injury which has ruled him out for the rest of the season.
”The season is over for wing defender Daniel Opare. He was operated on the knee this week,” a statement on the club’s website read some few weeks ago.
Opare has played 29 matches for Zulte Waregem this season and recorded two assists.
