Division One League side Wassaman FC banned by Ghana FA
National Division One League side Wassaman FC have been banned from playing at the Ejisu Okese Park by the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association.
This follows the actions of officials and fans of the club during their Zone 2 Matchday 6 game against Star Madrid FC.
The officials and fans of Wassaman FC according to the GFA held the match referees hostage following the abrupt end of their match against Star Madrid FC.
As a result, Wassaman FC have been banned indefinitely from hosting matches at Ejisu.
In this case, the Competition Department of the Ghana FA shall decide where Wassaman FC will host their home matches until further advised.
