DOL Board Chairman Akwasi Agyeman shows undiluted support for Kurt during late dad’s funeral

The Chairman for the Division One League Board Akwasi Agyeman spent a great deal of time with the President of the Ghana Football Association during the observation of the final funeral rites of his late dad.

George Offei Simeon-Okraku, 96, who passed on in November 2021 was buried on Friday February 28, 2022.

He was buried at the Military Cemetery in Accra since he was an ex-service man.

The funeral observation continued after the burial service at the Officers Mess at the Military Hospital.

Akwasi Agyeman who’s been a key member of the football industry stood with the President throughout the period to show his massive support.

Despite showing up for the one week observation in November last year, Mr. Agyeman was one of the top personalities who showed up for the burial service at the Ridge Church in Accra and followed on to the burial at the Military Cemetery.

He showed up again at the observation of the final funeral rite and shared the entire period with the GFA Boss.

The funeral rites of the late George Offei Simeon-Okraku drew massive nationwide attendance with international diplomats and personalities showing up.
