“Don’t be surprised if Karela United win the league” – Former management member
Former Management member of Karela United Eric Alagidede says it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone if the Ayinase based club win the Ghana Premier League this season.
The Ayinase based club have been impressive in the current campaign and are currently second with just two points behind leaders Great Olympics.
According to the young football administrator, Karela United have the right materials to win the Ghana Premier League and they will only have to keep their momentum in the second round.
“Karela? They can win the league if they keep the momentum going”, he indicated when asked about Karela and if they can win the league.
“They have been amazing since their promotion into the league and it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone when they win the league this season”, he added.
“I was expecting some squad beef-up during the transfer window for their defence, specifically their fullbacks.” He told Newsplusgh.com..
Mr Alagidede also warned his former club to stay focus as the second round wouldn’t be essy.
“This second round wouldn’t be easy for them but if they can perform as they did in the first round, Karela will win the league.
“It’s not good to be drawing at home when you aim to win the league especially in this round of the season, but it’s ok, the players should stay focus for they make history for themselves”.
“A club having an experienced goal keeper in shape of Stephen Adams, with Diawisie Taylor “a goal machine”, a fantastic captain, Godfred Agyemang Yeboah and Evans Adotey as the coach, they can win the league”.He added.
