“Don’t be surprised to see us in the top 4” – Legon Cities head coach Bashir Hayford
Head coach of Legon Cities Bashiru Hayford has made a bold statement on his team insisting they have what it takes to finish in the top four.
After spending most part of the season fighting relegation, the Royals have been able to turn things around and are currently lying 8th on the League standings.
The coach has insisted they will finish in the top four if they [Legon Cities] win four out of their remaining six games.
“Ones we are on the winning way, if we get four [wins] out of the six [remaining matches], then you will know where we are going to lie.
“It won’t be a surprise for people to see that we are playing in top 4, it won’t be a surprise at all.
“Nobody is counting us among the top four but [with God] everything is possible.” Bashir Hayford told Africa-foot.com
The Royals will travel to Ayinase and face Karela United in Matchday 29 of the Ghana Premier League.
