“Don’t underrate Hearts of Oak”- JE Sarpong warns Asante Kotoko
Veteran Ghanaian coach Joseph Sarpong has warned Asante Kotoko not to underrate Hearts of Oak as the two side meet in outstanding matchday 14 of the Ghana Premier League.
The two bitterest rivals will lock horns and battle not just for 3 points but also for the bragging rights as to who reigns supreme over the other.
The Phobians have been going through a lot with resignation of three members of the technical team including the head coach and his assistant.
Despite their recent plight, the Phobians have shown signs of recovery by winning their last two games in the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking to FootballMadeinGhana.com ahead of the game, Sarpong warned Asante Kotoko to be wary of the Phobians and not to underrate them because of their recent challenges.
“Nobody should underrate Hearts of oak due to the challenges facing the club in this few weeks.
“Beating Dwarfs and Liberty Professionals is a mark of a good team so if Asante Kotoko underrate them, it’s will be their own problem.’
The Hearts of Oak vs Asante Kotoko clash will take place at 3pm GMT on Sunday February 28 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The game will be live on TV via Startimes Adepa Channel 247.
