Dormon adamant Dreams can thrive minus Joseph Esso
Dreams FC assistant Coach Winifred Dormon insists the side has enough quality to more than cope in the absence of influential attacker Joseph Esso.
Esso, whose impact in the Dreams FC side cannot be understated has transferred to Algerian side MC Alger. Esso put up impressive performances for the ‘Still Believe’ in the first round of the campaign, netting 10 goals to aid the push for the title.
Despite his absence leaving a vacuum in attack, Dormon is positive they can still thrive minus the former Hearts of Oak attacker.
Dormon was speaking at a post match press conference following Dreams FC’s 2-0 win over Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
He said “We still believe that this team has amazing quality…with or without Esso, we can create and we can score. For us, that gives us the belief, that give us the confidence.
“I will not predict where we will finish as far as the league is concerned. Dreams FC will do well, Dreams FC will continue to display quality performance,” he concluded.
Dreams FC currently lie 4th on the league table on 34 points. They currently trail league leaders Asante Kotoko by 5 points.
