Dutch-Ghanaian striker Elvis Manu opens up on eagerness to play for Black Stars

Dutch-born striker of Ghanaian descent, Elvis Manu has disclosed that he is eagerly waiting for a chance to play for the Black Stars.

According to the player who plays his football in Bulgaria with Ludogorets now, he nearly earned the chance to play for Ghana when Avram Grant was the coach but it did not materialize.

Not giving up on the desire to represent the West African country, Elvis Manu speaking to Original FM in an interview has disclosed that he is going to continue working hard for that chance.

He said he is hoping to be invited to the Ghana national team after the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament to come to help the Black Stars in the qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

This season, the 28-year-old striker has scored four goals for Ludogorets in the Bulgarian top-flight league.

Meanwhile, Elvis Manu has tipped teenager Kamaldeen Sulemana to shine at the AFCON for Ghana in Cameroon.
