Eintracht Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner praises Ansgar Knauff
Ansgar Knauff is on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt from Borussia Dortmund until the summer of 2023.
The 20-year-old understands how to impress the Hessians and, as a result, wants to at least finish his loan deal. Coach Oliver Glasner, on the other hand, is generous in his appreciation.
In the Europa League, Ansgar Knauff scored for Eintracht Frankfurt against FC Barcelona and West Ham United.
“Since he’s been here, he’s made a big step forward and is on the right track,” praised Oliver Glasner, according to Kicker.
However, the Eintracht coach said: “There are still many things that he can and must improve in order to start a really great career.”
He has to increase his pass rate, which is now 62 percent in the Bundesliga and 56 percent in the Europa League.
Knauff scored his first goal for Eintracht in a 4-1 win over Hertha BSC on March 5.
