Emmanuel Gyasi: New Ghana International bags 6th assist in Serie A

Newly capped Ghana forward Emmanuel Gyasi returned from the international break to provide an assist as Spezia lost to Lazio by 2-1 in the Serie A on Saturday afternoon.

The attacker has been phenomenal for Spezia’s this season, supplying his sixth assist of the campaign to make it ten in terms of goal contribution to the club.

Gyasi’s clever pass found Daniele Verde in the 73rd minute to cancel out Manuel Lazzari’s first-half strike for Lazio.

Late drama at the end of the game saw the hosts grab a late goal which turned out to be the winner.

Emmanuel Gyasi lasted the entire duration despite the long trip from Ghana to Italy having made his debut for Ghana in the penultimate AFCON qualifier against South Africa.
